Assistant Site Manager – £3M New Build Warehouse – Bexley 📍 Location: Bexley, London 💷 Salary: Competitive + Benefits 📅 Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent Position 🏢 Sector: Construction / Industrial New Build Job Description Our client is currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a £3M new build warehouse project based in Bexley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a fast-paced industrial scheme, supporting the Site Manager in delivering the project to programme, budget, and quality expectations. Key Responsibilities * Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of site operations * Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient progress * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards (HSE, company policies) * Monitor progress against the programme and help maintain site records and reports * Conduct regular site inspections and audits * Assist with material deliveries, logistics, and maintaining a tidy and compliant site * Support with site meetings and communication between stakeholders Requirements * Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build construction projects * SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid at Work (required) * Knowledge of steel-frame and industrial build methods (advantageous) * Strong understanding of health & safety, quality assurance, and site procedures * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines What’s on Offer * Start date – ASAP * Competitive salary + package * Experience on a high-value, high-profile project * Opportunity to work with a reputable regional main contractor * Supportive and collaborative working environment Project Info * Value: £3 million * Type: New-build, Steel-frame industrial warehouse * Location: Bexley, South East London
