Storesperson Location: Leicestershire Salary: £14 – 15 p/h Job Type: Permanent Engineering @365 is working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in the East Midlands. The company designs and manufactures heavy equipment used across a range of industries including construction, infrastructure, and materials processing. About the role: As a Storesperson, you’ll be responsible for the organisation and the put away of raw materials delivered to site. This will include using a diesel FLT counter balance to move materials around site. Key Responsibilities: * Support the ongoing redevelopment of the site by organising and managing incoming materials * Receive, identify, and put away various raw materials such as sheet metal, screws, bearings, bolts, etc. * Operate a diesel Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) to transport materials safely around the site * Maintain an organised storage system to ensure quick and accurate retrieval of parts and components * Assist in the movement and distribution of materials to relevant teams (e.g. bolts to assembly/fitting team) * Use basic engineering knowledge to identify and understand different components (e.g. bearings, fasteners) * Communicate effectively with team members to meet operational and production requirements What we’re looking for: * Previous experience in a stores or goods inwards role * Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (diesel) * A basic understanding of engineering and mechanical components How to apply: To apply for the draughtsman role, please apply above or alternatively call a member of the team at Engineering @365.
