Are you an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? This is your chance to join a leading facilities management provider, working within a prestigious high-rise commercial building just minutes from Liverpool Street Station.
You will be part of a tight-knit team of 4 engineers delivering first-class maintenance across both landlord and tenant spaces in a premium city building. In return, the company offers £53,000 per year and genuine career progression opportunities.
Location: Liverpool Street, Central London – Easily accessible via tube, train, and bus links.
The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems
- Fault-find and repair: lighting systems, control panels, power distribution, pumps, motors, AHUs & FCUs
- Conduct emergency lighting and water temperature checks (no dosing required)
- Monitor BMS and mechanical plant – escalate issues as needed
- Reset chillers, clean and change filters on HVAC units
- Basic plumbing – unblock toilets and troubleshoot flow issues
- Escort specialist subcontractors and liaise with client representatives
- Maintain a safe working environment and escalate H&S concerns proactively
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrically qualified (Level 3 C&G / NVQ) or Mechanically qualified (Level 2 minimum)
- 18th Edition (essential for electrical applicants)
- Strong commercial building maintenance experience
- Confident working across both electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Must be able to start on-site at 07:00am
- Proof of trade qualifications is required
