We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Production Planner to join their team. This isn’t just an administrative role; we’re looking for someone proactive who can challenge existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive solutions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Orchestrate customer demand within the MRP system, ensuring production aligns with overall business goals
  • Conduct a thorough capacity analysis against customer forecasts to optimise resource allocation
  • Actively monitor shop floor progress, addressing delays and re-prioritising tasks to maintain flow
  • Facilitate regular operational meetings to review production status and resolve potential issues
  • Collaborate closely with the procurement team to guarantee timely material availability for project completion

To Be Successful, You Must Possess:

  • Proven planning & scheduling experience in a machine manufacturing environment
  • A proactive approach, comfortable with shop-floor engagement
  • Ability to challenge existing parameters, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions
  • Demonstrable experience working on KPIs such as OTIF Delivery, Quality, and Cost
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar planning role within engineering/manufacturing
