About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly and capable Cook to join our warm and welcoming tearoom in Dedham. You’ll be preparing freshly made dishes and baked goods in a relaxed, customer-focused setting. The role offers some flexibility, with 3 to 5 days per week depending on your availability and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a selection of brunches, lunches, and afternoon tea items
- Ensure food is served fresh, to a high standard, and attractively presented
- Support with kitchen organisation, stock control, and ingredient ordering
- Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards at all times
- Help create new seasonal dishes or specials as needed
About You:
- Previous experience as a cook in a café, tearoom, or similar kitchen setting
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Reliable, organised, and able to work calmly under pressure
