Our public sector client are looking for Admin Team Leader on a Temporary basis.

Location: Hybrid – site visits required (Hinckley, Wigston, Melton, and County Hall)

Pay Rate: Β£13.48 per hour

Role Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Admin Team Leader to support and coordinate business support services across multiple sites within Adults & Communities. This role includes supervising admin staff, ensuring effective office operations, and maintaining high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate admin and reception duties across multiple sites
  • Allocate and monitor workloads to meet deadlines and performance targets
  • Supervise, train, and support Admin Assistants
  • Manage correspondence, generic inboxes, and provide routine reporting
  • Assist with recruitment, induction, and absence management
  • Support health & safety checks, staff inductions, and office relocations
  • Handle ordering, invoicing, and budget monitoring
  • Maintain secure and efficient information management systems
  • Attend meetings and represent management as required

Requirements:

  • Strong admin team leadership experience
  • Ability to travel across sites as needed
  • Knowledge of data handling, performance monitoring, and office systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
