This role is based in London, UK Office. We're looking for a Production Assistant to join our team as part of our Content function.
Your Role: You will support the studio team with day to day operations, maintaining, organising, handling and observing safety procedures for the equipment and studio space. You will also help ensure compliance with studio standards and procedures. You will help the Video team in London to produce various types of video assets, with special emphasis on live video content produced from our studio in our office in central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking equipment for video productions
- Liaising with the Producer / Director to discuss requirements and plans for each project
- Organising and ingesting footage for post-production as well as archiving content
- Organising and executing kit maintenance, filming studio duties and other organisational tasks, liaising with external suppliers when needed
- Supports on set including camera operating, lighting, audio and streaming
- Receive briefs for, and produce, a simple packaged edit for production
- Facilitate & manage low risk, low maintenance livestreams with support from a more senior team member
- Support in the shipping and delivery of kit to our events
Qualifications:
- This role would be suitable for someone looking for their second role in video production
- Previous experience organising video productions in either the corporate or film industry is useful
- Knowledge of broadcasting and filming kit including cameras, tele-prompters, audio, capturing and streaming equipment with the purpose of supporting the Live and Video Technology team in their day-to-day usage
- Comfortable managing conflicting priorities and deadlines, ensuring a positive outcome with confident and concise communication
- This role requires someone who is personable as you will be very people orientated
- You are comfortable commuting regularly to meet production requirements
