We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises during the night shift. The role of the Night Security Officer is to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for our organization and its personnel. Your main duties will include:
- Patrolling the premises
- Monitoring surveillance systems
- Responding to alarms
- Reporting any suspicious behaviours
You will be working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off Nights only shift pattern. Shifts will be 19:00 - 07:00.

What you will need:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor & CCTV License - essential
- Must be able to achieve SC Clearance
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What are you going to do:
- Be a role model for positive attitude and respect for our colleagues, client and customers
- Build and maintain positive relationships to ensure the delivery of exceptional services and to safeguard our current and future business requirements
- Ensure an excellent level of customer service is delivered, respond positively to customers questions and be conscious of all visitors
- React to any incident or event in order to ensure the safety of persons and property in line with training, client requirements and Company policies and procedures
- Respond to emergency incidents, alarms activations and investigating disturbances or suspicious activity following the agreed procedures
- Ensure client premises and surrounding area is safe and secure by carrying out patrols internally and externally on site and permitting only authorised personnel
- Proactively operate CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity and capturing footage of an evidential nature if required
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences and provide written and verbal reports to the Duty Security Manager
- Advise Duty Security Manager of any security occurrence or system failure and identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting security
- Maintain, operate and test security equipment and report any failures or performance deterioration
