Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set and implement standard operating procedures and service standards of the store.
- Manage pre-assigned staff for both front and back of house to ensure brand standards are met.
- Manage, motivate, recruit, train, and develop staff according to company policies and employment laws.
- Handle card payment systems in accordance with company procedures, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
- Maintain the effectiveness of IT and in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Oversee daily stock of food and beverage items, verify deliveries, and ensure proper storage and data entry.
- Manage health & safety, security, and emergency systems, ensuring staff and customer awareness in compliance with policies and laws.
- Develop personal skills through ongoing training provided by the company or approved providers.
Our ideal Shift Manager will:
- Have experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager or assistant manager level.
- Possess a desire to progress to an Area Manager role.
