This role oversees our Operational Support portfolio, developing strategies, policies, and managing policing and operational matters, including participation in the Gold Command rota.
Applicants must be senior police officers who have passed the Senior Police National Assessment Centre and completed the Strategic Command Course or are enrolled in the Executive Leadership Programme. Successful candidates on the Programme will be appointed temporarily and promoted permanently upon completion.
Application deadline: Noon on Monday 21st July 2025. Interviews are scheduled for w/c 4th August 2025. External candidates are invited to an In-force Familiarisation day on 31st July 2025.
