Hays Education is working with reputable school in Loughborough to find a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team from January until the end of the academic year. The school are looking for Level 3 TA with an excellent working knowledge of the phonics and experience supporting SEND pupils. The school takes a play-led approach to learning offering creative classroom activities and a range of extra-curricular activities., In your new job as a Teaching Assistant with Hays, you will work on alongside class Teachers to create an enjoyable working environment for pupils by offering 1:1 support in the classroom as well as leading one-to-one interventions with small groups. You will work in classes across Key Stage 1 and 2 to provide support for SEND pupils. You’ll work collaboratively to foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.
To be successful in your new job, you will hold a Teaching Assistant Qualification to a Level 3 or higher and have recent experience working in a Primary School. You’ll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support SEND and EAL pupils. Most importantly, you’ll be confident stepping into a new school ready to build relationships quickly!
