Location Leeds Salary £50,000 – £60,000 + package Company Randstad are working alongside one of the largest House Builders, who have been recognised as a 5* Builder for over 10 years. They are continually striving to be the number one builder nationally by investing in technology and their people. Working on developments throughout the West & South Yorkshire regions within a close knit commercial team. Responsibilities Maintain all cost control procedures, and work within the guidelines set out within the Group policies and procedures. Be responsible for the compilation of all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required. Be aware of new materials and methods of construction which the company may employ, as well as a sound knowledge of latest regulations, codes of practise and NHBC requirements Be responsible for all cost control procedures, including managing and controlling the budget and valuations by always updating the estimated final costs, and having the ability to show absolute cost and value reconciliation Process Subcontract orders, payments and variations, using Excel and Group payment system (COINS) in line with Group policy and procedures Liaise with site personnel and subcontractors in order to maximise productivity Skills & Requirements Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card Must have a full understanding of current market conditions and rates Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations Strong communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health and Safety requirements etc. Benefits Competitive Salary Competitive Bonus Scheme Company Car or Cash Allowance Annual Medical Health Assessment Private Medical Insurance – Single Cover 26 days’ holiday (increase by 1 day for every 3 years’ continuous service up to 29 days) Choice of Flexible Benefits Enhanced Family Friendly Policies How to apply If you would like more information about this role, please contact Adam in the Leeds office.
