About The Role
As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join us who will report into our Head of Product Design. The key area of responsibility for this role is to unify and raise design standards across all squads, as well as leading the innovation for our verification and security services. You will be focusing on how we might be able to revolutionise and innovate our current verification methods, keeping in mind what's best for our brands in both the UK and US and across other markets around the world!
Responsibilities Include
- Work closely with your squad, especially engineers, to build and improve products
- Communicate with external stakeholders, run workshops, and confidently share your ideas
- Mentor other designers and share best practices
- Give feedback to teammates across squads, including designers, product managers, and engineers
- Lead refinement sessions with your squad
- Help out across the company when other designers need support or areas need improvement
- Promote the value of squad-based design to your peers and design leadership
- Contribute to the Design Guild's culture by joining and helping plan team ceremonies
Requirements
We'd really like to hear from you if you have:
- Proven experience as a Product Designer
- Experience working in a fast-moving, ambiguous-but-ambitious tech business
- Great handling and understanding of Figma
- Interest in the future of UX/UI and a willingness to go the extra mile to improve your skills
- A love of Content Design and its principles
- A growth mindset
- Strong UI skills
- Strong collaboration experience
- Ability to give clear and receive critical feedback
- Strong understanding of where Design-aided AI tools fit into the design process
