Are you a merchandiser looking for the next step in your career? Do you have a passion for managing people? We are looking for a Merchandising Team Leader based in the Middleton area. You will be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands. We work across a variety of categories including: Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys.
You will be supervising and training your team to ensure they are delivering excellent service for our clients and meeting agreed measures and deadlines. Merchandising tasks include setting up Point of Sale displays, checking stock levels, and replenishing fixtures. Every day is different and rewarding! This role is ideal for experienced merchandisers looking to step up to the next level in your career.
About the role:
- The recruitment area is Middleton, covering parts of Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale & Burnley.
- The contracted hours are 30 per week, with supervisory tasks for 12 hours at £12.70/hour and client merchandising tasks for 18 hours at £12.21/hour.
How you will deliver excellence:
- Supervising
- Coordinate the merchandising schedule for merchandisers in your area.
- Coach and train team members on merchandising principles and processes.
- Compliance and Standards
- Act as a compliance champion, ensuring standards and safety guidelines are followed.
- Implement planograms to ensure consistency.
- Product Placement and Replenishment
- Arrange products on shelves to maximize visibility and appeal.
- Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
- Set up promotional displays and signage.
- Communication and Relationship Building
- Build relationships with store colleagues and communicate feedback to client teams.
