We are on the hunt for an experienced and hands-on Test and Release Manager to take ownership of our testing and deployment lifecycle across critical Warehouse and Distribution Systems. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our technology delivery is seamless, secure, and scalable supporting the systems that keep our logistics and operations moving.
You will be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking tech team that is modernising legacy systems, embracing automation, and driving new releases with confidence and clarity.
The Role
You will lead and coordinate the testing strategy and release management across a range of applications and delivery teams, acting as the glue between internal teams, business users, and suppliers. You will be instrumental in shaping testing best practices, building out automation capability, and ensuring successful deployments into test and live environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise the full test and release lifecycle across projects and BAU changes.
- Coordinate UAT testing with business users and manage third-party vendor test deliverables.
- Lead risk assessment and go-live readiness activities.
- Maintain and enhance test automation tools for functional and regression testing.
- Use tools such as Jira and ServiceNow to manage test coverage, defect tracking, and release plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance, reporting, and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Strong experience as a Test Manager, Test Lead, or Release Manager.
- Track record of testing business-critical systems (preferably warehouse, logistics, or supply chain).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of UAT, integration testing, and release governance.
- Proficient with Jira, and familiar with test automation tools.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, and confidence managing third-party delivery teams.
Desirable
- ITIL and/or ISTQB/ISEB qualification.
- Experience with SAP-related testing or logistics system environments.
