We are recruiting for a passionate and professional Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant to join us in our HR department on a full-time permanent basis.
The role involves working directly with individuals and teams across the organisation to identify learning needs and devise, curate and/or procure innovative and engaging learning solutions across a range of topic areas that help to optimise performance and develop skills for future roles. In particular, this role will focus on L&D solutions that align with our risk and data strategy objectives focused on improving workforce capability in data management and digital systems.
You will be asked to carry a broad portfolio of work that might include:
- CRM system training
- Data literacy initiatives that equip employees with the skills needed to effectively use digital tools
- Complex subjects of a legal/regulatory nature
- Management and leadership programmes
- Compliance learning
We are therefore looking for someone who can develop collaborative stakeholder relationships with a proven track record of providing well-judged advice and guidance, and the ability to leverage multiple design channels to design and deliver effective, efficient, sustainable and creative learning solutions.
To succeed in, and importantly enjoy this job, you will need to be organised, flexible, and enthused by working to deadlines, able to manage multiple projects and workstreams at once and manage conflicting (and shifting) priorities.

We have adopted a hybrid working model with a blend of home working and an office presence of typically one to two days a week. When you are not working from home, you will normally work from our office in central Birmingham but may also be required to travel to other locations (Cardiff and London) from time to time.
