Chubb Fire & Security is currently recruiting a Logistics Coordinator & Trainee Engineer to be based out of Orpington - BR5 (Seven Oaks area), to support our team of Portable Fire Extinguisher (PFX) Engineers. The main goal of this role is to coordinate all aspects of the supply chain operations and warehousing within the branch, whilst delivering to our customer sites and also supporting Engineers with the installation of Fire Extinguishers (full, ongoing training provided).

What You Will Be Doing As A Logistics Coordinator & Trainee Engineer

This is a busy and varied position where you will support our PFX team across various branch departments, including within Stores (warehousing), the office with customer coordination and with around 50-60% of your day out in the field where you will support Engineers with installations of Fire Extinguishers as well as making deliveries to our customers and satellite branches. This role will involve extensive driving where you will cover a large patch down to the South East Coast.

  • Process all incoming deliveries
  • Pick and pack orders
  • Organise dispatch and delivery of goods
  • Deliver out to any remote Engineers not covered by a satellite location
  • Commissioning of fire extinguishers
  • Installation of fire extinguishers on customers' sites
  • Ensure product is stored safely and clearly marked with product codes
  • Maintain a high level of communication with sales team
  • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with warehouse management system
  • Promoting Chubb solutions to customers whilst onsite (Commission available)
  • Lead and support continuous improvement of warehouse processes to deliver excellent customer service levels

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday (start times between 7.00am/8.00am)
