Job Summary:
Ready for a change? Looking for a role that you can develop into? We’re currently recruiting for a Fleet Supervisor to be based at our Bury site. As part of a busy fleet operation, your role will be to support the Fleet Manager in managing people and processes required in maintaining our vehicles and associated equipment to a very high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee the effective returns process for local fleet, and ensure all vehicles are presented correctly prior to departure.
- To highlight the need for repairs of company vehicles and equipment by external contractors, to the Fleet Manager, and assist in the coordinating of those repairs.
- Assist in monitoring/reporting staff KPI’s.
- Assist in identifying training requirements for Fleet Team.
- Assist in developing and maintaining processes to enhance the Fleet Operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fleet environment.
- Full driving licence, preferably with Class C entitlement (HGV class 2) (but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and familiarity with service reporting software (e.g., IAuditor).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Transport Manager CPC desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility within work patterns.
