Circle is looking for a Senior Analyst, Network Onboarding, who will support the end-to-end onboarding of financial institutions and network participants, helping ensure operational excellence, risk awareness, and compliance throughout the process. You’ll play a critical role in reviewing onboarding documentation, validating information, identifying potential risks, and ensuring each new entity meets Circle’s standards for eligibility and trust. This role sits at the intersection of compliance, operations, and customer experience, enabling the secure, efficient, and scalable growth of the Circle Payments Network. You will operate in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment where you will be instrumental in scaling a new global payment network from the ground up.
What You’ll Work On
- Supporting the end-to-end onboarding of financial institutions and other network participants, ensuring documentation and eligibility requirements are met.
- Conducting thorough reviews to verify eligibility, business alignment, and risk indicators of network participants at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, security, product, and customer support to streamline onboarding workflows, eligibility validation and readiness milestones.
- Tracking and escalating high-risk attributes or discrepancies to appropriate stakeholders with clear, concise summaries.
- Monitoring industry trends related to onboarding risks, financial crime, or regulatory changes and suggest process improvements.
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of onboarding activities and proactively identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Core Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in onboarding, compliance operations, or KYC/AML reviews in financial services or fintech.
- Proven experience in payments, such as card networks or remittance networks. Familiarity with onboarding and risk requirements for financial institutions, payment providers, or crypto entities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and escalate issues when needed.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, remote-first, cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in crypto or blockchain-related onboarding or risk roles.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing cross-border payments or digital assets.
- Certification such as CAMS, CFCS, or CFE.
