Transporting children and adults to and from their education setting you will be working 7am to 9am and 2pm to 4pm term time only. Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated driver looking to make a difference in your community? Join our client's team as a Driver and be part of a rewarding journey!
What You'll Do:
- Drive passenger vehicles (up to 17 seats) with a focus on safety and comfort.
- Assist service users, including those with mobility impairments, in boarding and alighting.
- Ensure each journey is smooth and secure, adhering to traffic legislation and our client's Driver Code of Conduct.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects promptly.
- Engage with passengers respectfully, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure road-worthiness.
- Operate tail-lifts for wheelchair users safely.
- Transport service users to various locations, including schools and care centres.
- Complete daily incident reports and maintain accurate run lists.
What We're Looking For:
- A clean, full D1 driving licence is essential.
- Customer-focused attitude, with a passion for helping others.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential.
