We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in Meadowlark Care Home for full and part-time hours.

Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, supporting meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection. They participate in person-centred activities, outings, and events, promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.

The Care Assistant role involves ensuring the highest quality, person-centred care for residents, supporting each individual care plan. The role promotes independence and resident choice, ensuring their voices are heard in all aspects of care and support. No two days are the same, with key responsibilities including:

  • Assisting with personal care
  • Promoting positive mealtime experiences to enhance nutrition and hydration
  • Supporting meaningful activities
  • Creating 1:1 meaningful moments

An essential aspect of the role is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate, and Inclusion. You should be an effective communicator and work well within a multidisciplinary team. Having your SVQ2 and previous experience in care is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided.
