We’re hiring a Savings Analytics and Forecasting Manager! We’re looking for a commercially focused analyst to join our team and work closely with the Head of Savings Analytics and Forecasting. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the development and implementation of pricing and behavioural models that directly influence key business outcomes—profitability, customer growth, and margin optimisation. You’ll also deliver actionable performance insights and MI that inform strategic decisions across the Savings portfolio, working closely with stakeholders to drive commercial value.

Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Savings Analytics and Forecasting Manager at Nottingham Building Society:

  • Support the design and implementation of price elasticity and customer behaviour models to inform commercially driven pricing and product decisions, working closely with the Head of Savings Analytics and Forecasting.
  • Manage and maintain Savings models, ensuring they remain accurate, relevant, and aligned with the Society’s model governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust forecasting models, MI systems, and insight tools that enable effective business planning and performance tracking across the Savings function.
  • Analyse historical and current savings flow data to identify trends, inform business decisions, and support strategic planning for future needs.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly MI reporting for Savings, responding to ad-hoc insight requests and supporting key stakeholders with timely, actionable data.
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Product, Finance, and Treasury teams to produce accurate savings financial forecasts, contributing to budgeting, planning, and strategic discussions.
  • Conduct in-depth trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, and forecasting to support regulatory requirements and commercial business objectives.
  • Act as a data champion for Savings, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accessibility, while partnering with the central data team to drive data-led decision-making.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on data and models, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Customer, Treasury, Finance, Risk, Senior Leadership) and key external partners or industry bodies.
  • Provide support and leadership by deputising for the Head of Savings Analytics and Forecasting when required.

About you:

  • Proven experience in complex data analysis and data management/governance
  • Strong excel, power BI and SQL skills
  • A good understanding of the UK Savings Market is preferred
  • Strong forecasting, analytical, and report-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Skilled in identifying and recommending data solutions for product performance insights
  • Ability to interpret and present data clearly, using visualisations
  • Experience in stakeholder management and developing effective relationships across all levels
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in IT and mathematical skills, with relevant qualifications or work experience
  • Statistical methodology experience preferred
