A vacancy has arisen within our Liebherr Rental Division for a Rental Contract Manager. The role will be covering Central, North of England and Scotland regions contributing to the success of the Liebherr-Rental Division through the delivery of highly developed sales skills. With a passion not only for targets but also for people, the role will constantly strive to increase the client base ensuring outstanding customer service at all times whilst working within the Company’s key result areas: Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.
Your Responsibilities As a Rental Contract Manager:
- Contributing to the sales growth of the division by generating rental contract leads as a result of effective networking, referrals and prospecting.
- Successfully identifying, penetrating and successfully closing business opportunities.
- Negotiating within a defined framework so as to be able to achieve an agreed rental contract.
- Monitoring pending rental contracts closely and rapidly escalating any delay issues to minimise any financial loss.
- Consistently achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Maintaining an excellent relationship with the technical support functions ensuring that the correct specifications for an order are delivered to the customer.
- Actively developing a network of new customer relationships with new and existing clients.
- Maintaining and developing an excellent relationship with existing clients, establishing regular communication to be able to assess any new requirements.
- Maintaining an accurate database of all customer contact details and sharing this information willingly with other areas of the business.
- Taking ownership for customer complaints, remaining the point of contact and resolving these to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Identifying the opportunity to supervise product demonstrations at selected customer sites to facilitate the closing of a new rental contract.
- Taking the initiative to be involved with product and industry exhibitions and is able to add value.
- Managing work activities in an efficient manner, ensuring that data is entered onto the Liebherr system according to timeline requirements.
- Constantly monitoring competitor and market activity and can respond proactively to this.
- Effectively communicating current prospects to Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd for new and used machines.
To be successful in the Rental Contract Manager role, you need to have:
- Full clean driving licence
- Competent mechanical engineering background
- Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role or industry
- Able to demonstrate a passion for sales coupled with excellent results
- Team player
- Flexible approach to work
- Be able to travel UK & Ireland as required to support business requirements
