We’re looking for a dynamic, creative and multi-skilled Marketing and Design Manager to take charge of our marketing strategy and output. This is a hands-on, varied role that spans everything from digital content to print design, brand development and customer communications. No two days are the same — and you’ll play a key part in shaping how our company is seen, both online and offline.
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks including:
- Managing the EWGA Wines website and Wine Academy site (WordPress), plus B2B ecommerce integrations.
- Updating and maintaining our product portfolio both digitally (via Microsoft Business Central) and in print (Adobe InDesign).
- Creating blog posts, news articles and thought leadership content to support SEO and brand visibility.
- Running our email marketing campaigns and newsletters via Mailchimp.
- Managing and scheduling engaging content for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Designing wine lists, posters, tent cards, brochures and customer POS materials.
- Developing wine labels and branding from concept to final print for wine projects.
- Liaising with partner wineries and producers to ensure accurate and engaging representation of their products.
- Supporting trade customers on collaborative marketing campaigns (e.g., magazine adverts, wine events).
- Assisting with the creation and coordination of PR materials and award entries.
- Maintaining and updating the dashboard monthly.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly organised and capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experienced in both creative design and digital marketing — with a solid eye for visual presentation and branding.
- Comfortable managing timelines, working to deadlines, and adapting priorities.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar marketing and design role.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential).
- Comfortable with WordPress and basic HTML/CSS.
- Strong copywriting skills for email, blog, and marketing materials.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Business Manager.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP system.
- Bonus (but not essential) Experience in wine, food & beverage, or other consumer goods.
- Experience with print production and online print services.
- Photography or video editing skills.
