Are you ready to own the full lifecycle of world-class products? We’re looking for a commercially-minded and technically-aware Product Manager – Lifecycle Management to join our Product team based in Elland, West Yorkshire. In this high-impact role, you’ll take accountability for product performance from launch through to retirement, ensuring our portfolio continues to deliver customer value, operational efficiency and commercial return.
About The Opportunity
You’ll be the go-to person for post-launch product performance. Working across departments and markets, you’ll lead decision-making that simplifies the product portfolio, reduces complexity, and ensures engineering changes and obsolescence are handled with precision.
As a Lifecycle Product Manager, You Will
- Own SKU and portfolio management, streamlining the product range and removing underperforming SKUs to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Lead engineering change implementation, coordinating across functions to deliver product updates with minimal disruption to production, supply chain, or customers.
- Plan and execute obsolescence strategies, managing end-of-life transitions and ensuring customers and stakeholders are supported every step of the way.
- Act as the key product support contact post-launch, providing expert guidance to internal teams and resolving technical or operational issues swiftly and effectively.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in product lifecycle management, particularly post-launch, including SKU management and portfolio optimisation.
- Strong expertise in engineering change management, with an understanding of its impact on manufacturing and supply chains.
- Knowledge of manufacturing routings and Bill of Material Management (BoM).
- Experience in obsolescence planning and end-of-life product management.
- Background in New Product Introduction (NPI) and transition to lifecycle management.
