The Role:
Redgate is seeking an experienced Group Product Manager to join our team and lead the strategy for their group. This is a rare opportunity to take on a broad remit, in an influential role, which will genuinely shape the future of our products. With responsibility for managing a team of Product Managers and the product portfolio in your solution area, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and execute the solution vision and direction. Your expertise in designing solution strategies and driving commercial outcomes will be instrumental in achieving our business goals.
Over the next year, we’ll be evolving our product management organisation to embrace a customer-centric approach, and you’ll be at the forefront of enabling that change. As a Group Product Manager, you’ll work closely with engineering, design, and product marketing teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and successful solutions. You’ll inspire and lead a high-performing team, ensuring that our products address key individual goals, and are aligned with the overarching portfolio direction. In addition, you will use your skills and experience in agile methodologies and drive the modernisation of our product management practices.

- You’ll have prior experience acting in a successful leadership or management role, providing a confident, and clear product/solution area vision.
- You’ll have experience translating vision and strategy to plans and goals, and inspiring cross-functional teams to succeed with these, achieving commercial outcomes.
- You’ll be customer-centric, with experience in leading initiatives to improve customers’ outcomes.
- You’ll have evidence of building high-trust relationships with senior managers, direct reports, and development teams.
- You’ll have experience working within an agile environment, including SCRUM and Kanban, and demonstrated advocacy of lean Product Management techniques.
- You’ll have significant experience collaborating with internal teams, such as marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support collective go-to-market success.
- You’ll be enthusiastic, and credible when talking to customers, with proven effectiveness working with senior decision-makers.
- You’ll have a strong understanding of Redgate’s Database Deployment market and how this is evolving, combined with real-world, hands-on experience working with database solutions.
- You’ll have demonstrable experience of successful cross-team and peer collaboration and balancing business and organizational needs.
- You’ll have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain and translate complex needs/concepts into clear and effective plans that are understood by the intended audience.
