Vergo Pest Management Ltd is the largest independent national pest service provider in the UK today. Through continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a customer facing Pest Control Technician to join our team, working in the Gloucester and Forest of Dean area. Whether you are experienced in the industry, looking for a change or to start your career, we want to hear from you.
Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control and wildlife management. You’ll be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential and government properties where you’ll be visiting our customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises.
Our salary package is up to £29,500.00 based on qualifications and experience, in addition all of our technicians have the opportunity to increase their take home pay by up to 6K through commission and incentives. Experience within this field would be preferred however we provide an excellent training programme for inexperienced candidates and are always looking to bring on individuals who show initiative and have the right attitude and work ethic. Trainees starting salary is £26,740.00, rising to £28,000.00 when qualified.
Minimum criteria
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Live within a 40 mile radius of the area advertised
- The ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
- To be methodical and systematic in your approach to work.
- Be comfortable using mobile phone apps
- Have excellent attention to detail
