At IMG, our Studios business use content and technology to power the world's passion for sport, working with global clients including The Premier League, The R&A, DP World Tour, Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. We've built Europe's best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park, London, distributing 35,000 hours of content globally and creating some of the world's best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities, with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. What You'll Do:

IMG Studio's Library & Media Management team provides a full range of services, blending archive and live project management seamlessly. We specialise in ingesting, processing, and enriching media content, ensuring that everything from asset auditing and migration to cloud-based distribution meets the highest quality standards. Our diverse and experienced team ensures smooth workflows across various tasks from physical tape management to live logging, clipping, and distribution across multiple platforms. The team operates on a flexible shift system, providing around-the-clock support. And our priority is to deliver exceptional solutions that meet the unique needs of both internal and external clients. Whether managing complex archive projects or providing precise live media services, we are dedicated to ensuring client requirements are met with accuracy, efficiency and full compliance.

This early-careers position offers opportunities to be involved in all aspects of the IMG Library team's work. As Media Librarian, you will contribute to the logging and media management of footage from clients associated with sports ranging from football, tennis, rugby, golf, cycling, ice skating and table tennis among others. Through the department's ongoing archive migration projects, you'll also get to handle and process clients' archival material held in IMG's extensive physical tape and film library.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based at our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. You will be required to work occasional late nights and weekends. Applications will close on Friday 11th July at 11.59pm UK Time.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Digitisation and ingest of tape archive to IMG Studios Media Asset Management System (currently VizOne)
  • On-boarding of key content (IMG and/or Client owned) to specified sites (VizOne; Cloud; Client sites)
  • Logging and publishing of digital content to various platforms
  • Responsibility for various, regular administrative tasks: Metadata checks, Asset updates, Media management

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Knowledge of video and film formats
  • Interest in a wide variety of sports
  • Ability to remain focussed on a task over a set period of time and to a deadline
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel and Word)

  • Previous experience working within a tape library / archive environment
