Position requires driving an Ottawa and/or Capacity "jockey/spotter" truck to move trailers around the property, into & out of loading/unloading areas, and to assist with tarping operations as needed. Experience in backing up & maneuvering trailers is preferred. CDL is NOT currently required but preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Tarping and securing product loaded on flatbed trailers for shipment.
- Unsecuring and untarping trailers for unloading.
- Follow oral and written instructions and procedures.
- Place and secure poly and tarps on flatbed trailers as required, and secure loads with bungees and straps.
- Observe all safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
- Keep work areas and truck lots clean and organized.
- Work indoors and outdoors; during snow, remove snow by shoveling trailers.
Compensation: $19.00 per hour. Weekly pay every Friday. Benefits offered after 90 days of employment. Must pass a background check, drug screening, and be 18 years or older.
