The predicted salary is between 28000 - 42000 Β£ per year.

We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Soho Farmhouse (OX7 4JS). Your main responsibility is to ensure that the food we deliver to our members is of the highest quality. This includes preparing food before service, setting up and stocking kitchen stations, and plating to company standards. You will oversee sushi production in the Pen Yen Kitchen which offers members an izakaya-style menu showcasing the best of Japanese cuisine.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile Japanese kitchen with focus on Sushi
  • Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • Sense of urgency

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
  • Flexible and available to work both opening and closing shifts when required

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
  • Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required

Expected Working Hours

Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes.

Subsidised transport rate offered from: Chipping Norton (OX7) & Banbury (OX15 & OX16).
