The company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to support its financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and supporting the wider finance team with timely and accurate data. This role plays a vital part in the company's ability to make informed strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains and corrects the company's books of accounts with a high level of accuracy
  • Tracks all payments, receivables, and revenue streams
  • Records daily financial transactions and updates the general ledger
  • Prepares journal entries and verifies documents and bills
  • Drafts and manages purchase orders while corresponding with vendors as required
  • Prepares and organises documentation for tax compliance
  • Assists in preparing trial balances for review by accountants
  • Monitors cash flow and produces financial reports to support managerial decisions
  • Organises and maintains financial records, including bank reconciliations, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements
  • Ensures all financial data is accurate, reconciled, and properly tracked
  • May handle payroll processing, depending on the size and structure of the organization
Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar financial role
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
