innocent's a brand built on human connection. We want to leave people happier than we find them, and our social media team plays a huge part in making that happen. From starting a nationwide debate on the colour blue to live-tweeting Bake Off, everything we do comes back to connecting with our drinkers.
The digital and social media manager plays a huge part in guiding the social media team, managing internal and external stakeholders and, of course, posting nonsense on our socials.
You’ll be:
- Creating silly posts for our products.
- Collaborating with our hero.
- Making big campaigns even bigger.
- Reacting to the weather.
- Listing things you definitely don’t need to buy yourself.
- Live tweeting Bake Off.
- Writing about our charity work.
- Our policies.
- And of course, giving back to our drinkers.
These are all the types of things you’ll be doing as our digital and social media manager. We know. You can get paid for doing all of that. What a time to be alive.
We’ve always been known as one of those brands who do things a little differently on social media. And we’re looking for that next person who wants to help us continue that. Meaning we need someone who understands our tone-of-voice. Someone who understands our sense of humour. And someone who knows what type of content our drinkers would like.
The job will be working with the head of marketing to lead our media comms and social strategy, while also being responsible for executing it. Which is just a formal way of saying “do the actual work”. You’ll also be expected to generate content ideas, collaborate with lots of stakeholders, manage a social media executive and agencies, and of course hit and grow those KPIs. Whatever they are.
If you’ve got some experience in managing a brand’s digital and social media strategy, then this could be the job for you. We’re on the lookout for someone who knows what the difference between paid media and influencers is, can make use of whatever data is thrown at them, and has a knack for creating content that makes people laugh and smile.
You’ll be reporting into our head of marketing, while also managing a social media executive and our external agency partners. Alongside that, you’ll be working closely with our community managers and in-house creative team. Social media is always changing and we need someone who’s able to move and change with it.
You’ll have:
- Experience leading on content creation and strategy for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Threads, as well as using social listening tools like Sprout Social.
- Great organisation and stakeholder management skills – you’ll need to manage a full year content calendar and a team of stakeholders to plan content months in advance, getting alignment from multiple teams and business partners.
- Brilliant skills in copywriting and creating social content in general, with strong previous experience of capitalising on reactive moments and hitting key KPIs.
- Knowledge of creating unique campaigns across all digital touch points with a strong background in influencer partnerships and paid media.
- Ability to create a digital customer journey using several digital avenues in key campaign moments to give drinkers a unique and personal experience.
- Management experience (one person or team).
- Experience working with agencies and external stakeholders.
- Experience of bringing insights (consumer insights & social listening) into campaign planning.
You’ll get:
- To work within an award-winning social media team.
- To create content that regularly reaches millions of people organically.
- To be paid for being funny (among other things).
- To use your creativity (and let’s face it, weirdness) every day.
- To develop yourself and your writing style.
- To work in a fun, supportive team that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further.
In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary (phew), private healthcare, a target-based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.
We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.
Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring. Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
