Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn't work together. So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we've embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.
Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We're building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.
The Role
We're looking for a Sales Content Manager who can bring to life the power of Square's platform to acquire new business and retain the businesses that run on Square. You will create, evolve, and maintain the sales collateral library by regularly enhancing it with compelling data and relevant messaging, and translating global messaging into regionally relevant narratives. You'll partner with sales partners to translate our solutions into audience-relevant messaging and allow our reps to articulate this messaging with impact.
Responsibilities
- Build foundational sales collateral for all Square Sales and Account Management teams (pitch decks, one pagers, presentation templates, case studies, email outreach drafts, talk tracks) that shows how Square's solutions solve business needs.
- Exercise exceptional storytelling and editorial skills with an ability to craft compelling, persuasive, and clear B2B narratives that resonate with target audiences and drive action.
- Tailor messaging to the nuances of the UK and European markets, including payment regulations, industry trends, and regional seller needs.
- Turn insights into action, developing messaging that is backed by both qualitative and quantitative proof points, that deeply resonate with industry decision makers.
- Maintain sales content on a quarterly basis to ensure metrics and claims are up to date based on earnings results, market trends and competitive intel.
- Collaborate with UK & EU-based Sales and Marketing partners to proactively gather product, data, and campaign information and masterfully package it into merchant-focused messaging.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting sales or account management teams with sales collateral in a FinTech, SaaS, or RestaurantTech business.
- Ability to build with creative templates without copywriting and design support.
- Experience building high-quality content without dedicated design support.
- Fluency in English and either French or Spanish required.
- Familiarity with UK & EU regulatory and market standards.
