An established and expanding international organisation with operations across the UK, Europe, and the MENA region, is seeking a Management Accountant to join its Head Office in Chertsey. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accounting professional to contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking finance team in a business that offers genuine opportunities for learning and development. Along with a salary of up to £42,500 per annum, you will also receive an annual bonus, hybrid working (3 days in the office & 2 days from home), plus other benefits!
What You’ll Be Doing As Management Accountant
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting for several entities within the European and MENA regions. Key duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with local GAAP
- Cash reporting, banking, and processing of payments
- Full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolution of variances
- Reconciliation of stock, consignment stock, and GRNI at month-end
- Accurate calculation and recording of accruals and prepayments
- Management of intercompany recharges and service charge allocations
- Liaison with external tax advisors and support for the preparation of tax returns
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal group policies
- Supporting external audit processes, including provision of audit documentation
- Providing financial insights and performance updates to key business stakeholders
- Supporting ad hoc financial projects and operational initiatives as required
