We have several engineering and consultancy roles within our defence technical axis, based in various UK locations, each offering unique opportunities.
What will you be involved in?
Frazer-Nash offers valuable opportunities for individuals with a background in WOME design, platform integration, and safety assurance, including modifications, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Recent projects include:
- Conducting safety analyses for future hypersonic capabilities
- Producing safety case documentation for Ground Based Air Defence Systems
- Providing technical oversight for naval defence capabilities
- Running OME Safety Review Panels (OSRP) for UK MOD assurance
- Safety assurance of novel Directed Energy Weapons (DEW)
If you have any of the following, please apply now:
- Experience as ex-service WOME operators
- Experience supporting WOME in the commercial industry
- Knowledge of WOME or nuclear standards, policies, and regulations
- Experience with OME certification, qualification, S3, platform integration, testing, and evaluation
- Applying safety analysis techniques: HAZID, hazard management, functional hazard assessment, software safety, risk categorization and classification
- Risk management and reduction, including ALARP assessments
- Familiarity with Technical Assurance/Governance
- Authoring safety assurance artifacts specific to weapons and OME
- Professional engineering status or willingness to obtain it
