AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST, you will administer respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, under the supervision of a physician and by prescription. The therapist performs all critical care duties without supervision and acts in a supervisory capacity when the supervisor is not available.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania respiratory therapist license or temporary practice permit required
- One year respiratory therapy experience preferred
- RRT registered or eligible for registration with RRT by NBRC - 1 year to obtain PA license
- Healthcare provider (CPR) certification within 6 months of start date in position/department
- ACLS certification
