We are dedicated to driving success and efficiency in the agricultural sector, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our Agriculture team.
The Regional Sales Manager for Agricultural Machinery will be responsible for driving sales and market growth across Central Europe, including Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. This role involves managing dedicated AG distribution, developing new business opportunities, building strong dealer and customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the agricultural sector, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for sales. Please note this is a field-based role, based in any of the following regions: Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia or Slovenia.
What does this role involve day to day?
- Further develop dedicated Agricultural dealers to maximise market coverage and be close to the customer.
- Manage and deliver a monthly and full-year sales forecast by dealer and by country.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and grow JCB market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal JCB teams, dealers, and end-users.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Deliver Product Sales training to the dealers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of JCB’s agricultural machinery products and services.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
This will be suited to you if...
- You have sales experience in the agricultural machinery market, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- You’ve got a proven track record for selling Agricultural or Construction products throughout the Central Europe region, this is ideal but not essential.
- You have an understanding of capital equipment sales, sales forecasting, sales campaign development/generation, dealer management, dealer target setting, vendor finance, promotional activity to stimulate the marketplace & can motivate dealer principals & sales managers to grow volume & share.
- You have strong leadership skills.
- You have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- You can analyse market trends and data to make informed business decisions.
- You’re self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
- You’re willing to travel within the region and internationally to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- You’re fluent in both written and spoken English.
