Position summary

Lead, inspire, and drive excellence. Join us as a Production Leader at the state-of-the-art Rolls-Royce Bristol Turbine Facility. Taking charge of a large, dynamic team within a defined manufacturing cell, you’ll optimise production performance and help us achieve Zero Harm and Zero Defects while delivering world-class products to our customers.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading a team of 30 – 40, fostering a Zero Harm culture by upholding the highest safety, environmental and wellbeing standards
  • Driving quality and efficiency, working towards Zero Defects and compliance with engineering and safety standards
  • Managing team performance and budgets, optimising productivity, headcount, and cost efficiency
  • Ensuring on-time delivery, using capacity planning and workflow management to meet customer commitments
  • Developing and empowering the team, fostering continuous improvement, lean leadership, and digital manufacturing adoption

Position Requirements:

  • You have a safety-first mindset, with knowledge of health and safety standards and product integrity
  • With broad experience across disciplines, you’ll have a company-wide outlook and are comfortable dealing with different challenges, cultures and ways of working.
  • You can demonstrate a proven track record of improving operational performance and leading cross-functional teams
  • You’ll have continuous improvement expertise, ideally with Lean/Six Sigma experience (Green Belt preferred)
  • Ideally, you’ll come from an Aerospace, Automotive or similar large manufacturing environment
