We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond! We are currently recruiting for a Planner to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions based in Bradford, Yorkshire. Working Hours & Location
- Salary: £25,350.00 per annum
- Shift pattern: Wednesday - Sunday (8am - 5pm, with weekend work being WFH)
- Location: Bradford
- Holidays: 24 days holiday + Bank holidays
About The Role
Working with the Planning Team Leader and a wider team of Planners, you will ensure work is coordinated and scheduled efficiently for our Field Operatives.
As a Planner, You Will Be
- With a ‘Right First Time’ approach, plan preventive, planned and re-active maintenance within contractual SLAs, whilst optimising travel routes and field productivity.
- Keeping track of Ops non-completions throughout the day and planning top-up work to meet the completion targets.
- Working closely with stores/supervisors in order to plan and complete jobs.
- Answering and resolving customer enquiries and demonstrating ownership of the problem.
- Building effective working relationships with the field operations.
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects as required by the Planning Team Leader.
- Working closely with the key Operational stakeholders to identify and rectify issues whilst improving the effectiveness of the operations department.
- Engage with external and internal customers in scheduled meetings.
- Work with teams to enhance data quality in work promotion and scheduling to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems, ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated.
- Ensure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner. This may include keeping the client and management team informed of any ongoing incidents or events.
- You will ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved, to both external and internal customers, providing excellent customer satisfaction.
- Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change.
Skills, Behaviours And Qualifications
- Experienced Planner, preferably in the Utilities Industry.
- Fantastic Attention to Detail.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment would be an advantage.
- Competent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Customer focused with the desire to provide a fantastic customer experience.
- Strong understanding of reactive wastewater network maintenance, including repair and survey processes would be an advantage.
- Ability to analyse and validate operational data to ensure accurate scheduling.
- Experience managing works requiring customer access and traffic management considerations would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with scheduling software and operational planning tools used within the water industry contracts would be an advantage.
