Unix/Linux Administration: Maintain Unix/Linux servers, with a focus on SUSE, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Automation with Ansible: Develop Ansible playbooks for automating routine tasks and configurations. Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Provide guidance and training to team members on Ansible best practices.

Vulnerability and Patch Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans. Manage the patching process to ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches. Work closely with the security team to address any identified vulnerabilities promptly. Maintain documentation of vulnerability and patch management activities.

People Management: Lead a team of Unix engineers, providing support for their professional development. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews with team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Project Management: Participate in infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. Coordinate with other IT teams and partners to ensure successful project execution. Develop project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports.

Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Prepare for and participate in external audits. Implement corrective actions based on audit findings to improve processes and security.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Unix/Linux administration and automation. Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7 years of experience in Unix/Linux administration, with a focus on SUSE. Experience with automation tools, Ansible. Technical expertise in Unix/Linux administration, particularly RedHat & SUSE. Experience in vulnerability and patch management. Experience in people management and team leadership.
