Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Inspire: Develop and manage a core team of systems engineers dedicated to aligning tools, processes, and MBSE deployment across Phantom Works programs.
- Foster Collaboration: Promote the sharing of MBSE knowledge and best practices across sites and programs, enhancing our collective expertise.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with Boeing Defense Systems (BDS) and Phantom Works Engineering Capabilities, IT, and the Boeing Digital Enterprise team to create and implement a comprehensive MBSE strategy and roadmap.
- Advocate for Needs: Communicate and advocate for Phantom Works' requirements in the development of MBSE processes and tools, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of our programs.
- Connect the Digital Thread: Serve as the focal point for MBSE implementation, streamlining systems engineering products and processes to achieve program objectives.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Build partnerships with DoD customers, industry partners, and internal teams to provide thought leadership and influence the future of MBSE.
- Support Proposals: Assist in proposal development to ensure a unified MBSE strategy across all PW programs.
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the development of program tool and data architecture models, identifying gaps and focusing investments to enhance MBSE connectivity.
- Integrate Across Disciplines: Ensure that tools and processes support data integration across all program phases, from modeling and simulation to validation and certification.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications:What We’re Looking For: To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Education: Bachelors or higher in an engineering or engineering discipline.
- Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of leadership experience.
- MBSE Expertise: 3 years of experience implementing MBSE tools, processes, and modeling languages, including SysML and Cameo/MSOSA.
- Systems Engineering Background: 5 years of experience in multi-disciplined development, including Systems Engineering and system integration.
- 5 years of experience implementing MBSE tools, processes, and modeling languages, including SysML and Cameo/MSOSA.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Broad knowledge of Model Based Engineering (MBE) across engineering disciplines and lifecycle phases.
- Experience in developing program data and application architectures for aerospace.
- Familiarity with systems engineering areas such as requirements analysis, verification and validation, and project management.
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
