Are you looking to progress your career by working on Britain’s biggest construction project? Balfour Beatty VINCI is delivering a 90km West Midlands stretch of HS2. This role is based on site in Coventry and supports the surveying team across key sublots and main structures to enable full connectivity between network rail corridors.

Responsibilities

• Proficient with survey control establishment and post processing for site control throughout the Sublot.
• Conduct UAV drone flight missions and software processing.
• Carry out topographical surveys for the DJV, as-built surveys, machine control measures and reporting, QA checks.
• Provide support and mentorship to Engineers and Assistant Surveyors.
• Support material logistics and coordination across sublots to enable project progress.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have sound knowledge of surveying, understand best practices and methodologies.
• Understanding of survey/construction tolerances and familiarity with RICS regulations.
• Up to date with latest Trimble survey technologies.
• Experience with GNSS, Robotic Total Stations, Digital levels, Scanners.
• Competent with bespoke survey software such as N4ce, Trimble Business Centre (TBC) & AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Trimble Connect, Trimble SYNC, Propeller, etc.
• Holds a valid UAV pilot’s license with experience undertaking flight missions.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Current valid right to work in the UK is required to be considered.
