We are seeking a highly motivated Area Supervisor to oversee daily operations within an area of our manufacturing facility. The role involves managing a team of production operatives, ensuring targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production operatives to achieve high performance.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and ensure safe working practices.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.
• Report on key performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.
• Work closely with other departments, including maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in using production management systems and reporting tools (desirable).
