We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Shop Design team at Greggs as Shop Design Planning Administrator.

About the role
This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) however flexibility in this will be considered. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role. The base location for this role is flexible.
What you'll do
Working closely with the Shop Design Manager, Designers, Project Managers and other stakeholders you will:
- Manage all aspects of planning, building regulations/warrants for programmed new sites, re-sites and refits
- Complete and monitor planning applications, including listed building consent for shopfronts, HVAC, Air Conditioning, internal works and adverts.
- Liaise with Greggs planning consultants to monitor change of use applications
- Arrange any supplementary reports and surveys to support planning submissions, which would include Noise, Odour and Acoustic surveys
- Manage the building regulations compliance register and planning register to ensure it is in line with shop development programme and ensuring compliance with all policy's/certification
- Liaise closely with designers, project managers, Greggs approved building inspectors and local authority building inspectors
- Manage the workflow of design, planning, building regs orders, ensuring costs are signed off, orders placed and any queries dealt with in a timely manner
- Work to tight and challenging deadlines, along with maintaining accurate and up to date documentation
- Communicate in a professional and timely manner, both within our team and to our stakeholders, within the business and externally
- Attend weekly meetings to update on progress and highlight any issues
About you

- Experience in working in a similar role, industry knowledge preferential
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Are results focused with strong planning, prioritising, report writing and organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and presentation skills
- Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, accuracy, delivering results within tight timescales and work under pressure
- Have advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
- A good communicator and strong team player, able to operate and influence at all levels clearly and concisely
- Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
