Are you a hands-on IT professional with a passion for providing outstanding support and maintaining robust IT systems? Weβre looking for a proactive and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our IT and communications systems.
Your Tasks
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support, addressing user queries related to system access, passwords, hardware/software, and general help desk issues via the ITSM tool.
- Build systems using standard Modern Workplace images and toolsets.
- Purchase, configure, and install hardware and IT consumables in a timely manner.
- Manage system and software licensing as well as telecommunication setup and maintenance.
- Ensure secure and correct setup of user accounts, directories, access rights, and network printing.
- Perform routine server maintenance and backups in line with company protocols.
- Maintain security compliance across company devices.
- Create and maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve technical issues and escalate bugs with third-party vendors.
- Deliver user training and support across the business.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to IT best practices.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in a similar IT support or systems administration role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO).
- Experience with Modern Workplace environments and tools.
- Proficient in device management using Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint/MDE.
- Excellent understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and remote access services (VPNs, RDP).
- Solid knowledge of hardware: servers, PCs, printers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft environments, including previous versions.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, Veeam backup systems, and IP-based phone systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
