Purpose Of The Position
The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for selling Internal and Supplier Audit solutions to new clients, focusing on BSI's core areas of expertise. This role involves identifying and managing sales opportunities, gaining a deep understanding of client business needs, and positioning BSI's solutions to help organizations improve and manage their processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively network with new clients to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, especially within the French market.
- Manage a portfolio of stable key accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across divisions, leveraging specialist subject and sector knowledge to develop tailored client solutions.
- Utilize BSI sales tools and CRM (Salesforce) to identify opportunities, produce accurate sales forecasts, and promptly record sales and order information.
- Work with operations teams to ensure delivery timelines meet client objectives and resolve any issues quickly.
- Routinely review sales activity and quality KPIs, using sales data to plan and execute future sales strategies that meet financial and activity goals.
- Stay informed of industry developments and confidently engage clients in relevant discussions.
Requirements
- Proven βhunterβ mentality with strong business development skills, ideally gained within consultancy, Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industries.
- Senior professional with a successful track record of independently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Solid experience in consultancy, internal audits, supplier audits, testing, inspection, certification, or related sectors is essential.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain or internal audit areas, with experience managing large clients and key accounts.
- Fluency in English and French (minimum C1 level).
- Availability to travel as required.
- University degree in Business, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Experience in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector is an advantage.
- Candidates from various sectors with relevant consultancy, business development, or TIC backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
