An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and well-connected new business hunter to lead growth across the Acquirer and selected financial institutions in the UK and Ireland. This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives on creating opportunities, leveraging a strong network, and delivering results.
The Role
You will take full ownership of driving new business with Acquirers and aligned financial institutions. This is not an account management position; it is a true sales role, requiring someone who is proactive, hands-on, and comfortable with regular travel to meet customers and prospects.
You will work with autonomy to build relationships with key players in the acquirer market. Your focus will be on engaging at the right level, demonstrating the value of the offering, and converting relationships into significant commercial outcomes. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to the UK & Ireland Managing Director, with a clear mandate to deliver growth.
What You Will Need
- A strong existing network in the UK and Irish acquirer space
- A βhunterβ mindset, with a proven track record of building new business in payments technology.
- Experience in or strong knowledge of payment terminals.
- Deep understanding of the acquiring ecosystem and payment technologies
- Excellent commercial acumen, communication skills, and personal drive
- Willingness to travel as required across the UK and Ireland
- A strategic thinker who can build and execute a go-to-market plan

Home-based in the UK or Ireland, with travel as required.
