Gemporia began in 2004 and we are a British live television and online jewellery retailer sourcing gemstones across the globe. Since the end of 2017, we are now very proud to be an employee-owned company and we are constantly seeking to grow our successful team.
We are looking for multiple Social Media Content Creators/Presenters to play a key role in driving the success of our TikTok Shop and broader social presence. You’ll be responsible for presenting and producing both live and pre-recorded content for our brand’s social channels, with a strong focus on TikTok Live. We are after digital-first creators who not only shine on camera but also bring a strategic and creative mindset to content development. You’ll need an understanding of TikTok, current trends, and what makes content perform. Social listening, idea generation, and creative execution should come naturally to you and you should feel confident taking ownership of content from concept to creation.
There are opportunities available across our jewellery, non-jewellery, and beauty categories. You’ll be joining an established, fast-paced team, so we’re looking for confident individuals who are comfortable taking initiative, reacting quickly to trends, and bringing fresh energy and ideas to everything they create.
Accountable For: Key Tasks/Results/Objectives:
- Presenting and Producing TikTok and any other livestreams for our social media channels as required, to drive brand awareness and revenue.
- Preparing products, schedules and any other content for livestreams with the TikTok team to increase views and attract new customers.
- Creating high-quality, trend-led organic content that supports TikTok Lives, strengthens our brand voice, and drives traffic to our eCommerce platforms.
- Planning, filming, editing, and optimising both organic and shoppable video content in line with TikTok’s best practices and our brand guidelines.
- Confident in community management, actively engaging with the TikTok audience by responding to comments, initiating conversations, and nurturing relationships with followers, influencers and ambassadors to grow community and loyalty.
- Managing the TikTok Seller Centre and Business Suite with the TikTok team to review insights, enhance performance, and identify areas for development.
- Liaising with the Customer Service team to enhance the TikTok user journey, and other Departments within the company to increase efficiency.
- Working with Buyers and Merchandisers internally and externally to source stock for the TikTok shop in response to customer demand and trends.
- Gathering and analysing data for both organic and ecommerce aspects of TikTok to present to the wider Marketing Team to ensure targets are met and discuss other opportunities.
- Working with the Social Media Manager, Buying Team, Head of Beauty and TikTok Team to develop the TikTok strategy to identify areas for and achieve growth.
- Working with the Social Media Manager and rest of the Social Media Team on the wider Social Media strategy and goals.
- Support with any other pre-recorded content and modelling tasks within the Social and Marketing Team.

Skills:
- Presenter/Producer experience is desirable but not essential, however the ideal candidate should have an outgoing and dynamic personality with good improvision and verbal communication skills.
- Must be comfortable being on camera.
- Experience with social media platforms, especially TikTok, the Seller Centre and Business Suite either personally or professionally.
- Proficiency in creating and editing video content — including basic videography, audio, lighting, and editing tools (CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar).
- Knowledge and/or experience in the jewellery, home and beauty sectors and/or retail industry is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge and/or passion for gemstones is desirable but not essential.
This role is full time hours that requires flexibility and evening and weekend work – your working hours may change regularly so you need to be up for a varying work pattern and be willing to adapt to the needs of the Social Department.
This role is based in our broadcast studios in Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 9HF and the successful candidate(s) must be comfortable with the location and working on site and not have to relocate for our role.
