We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the management of JDR's Renewables projects. The position is responsible for the planning and execution of design, procurement, manufacturing and testing activities, delivery of project documentation for customer review, delivery of the finished product and related offshore services, and related documentation package within the agreed timeframe.

Reporting into the Head of Renewables, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Acquire in depth knowledge of project contract scope and delivery requirements to ensure the project revenue and invoicing requirements are achieved on time, within budgetary cost and in accordance with the customer and contract requirements.
  • Organise, plan and manage projects including management of project costs and preparation of internal and external reports, liaising with all appropriate departments to facilitate this.
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of customer deliverables and management of relationships with customer project teams.
  • Take full leadership of all project contractual and commercial matters, liaising with Legal and Contracts department as required.
  • Identifying and assessing commercial and contractual risks, managing the projects to protect the company's financial and technical exposure.
  • Management and development of project technical and commercial risk strategy including management of the project Risk Register.
  • Manage and delegate work to relevant project functions accordingly.
  • Facilitate the administration and production processes, where applicable, in order to ensure effective dovetailing between departments, maintaining contract files, orderly and chronologically.
  • Formulate good working relationships with customers, taking ownership of customer problems and actioning accordingly.

With previous Project Management experience, you will be organised, accurate and self-motivated to ensure project revenue projections are achieved and the project is delivered on time. An analytical thinker with a commercial and delivery focussed approach to ensure projects are delivered within the expected budgetary costs, and the respective margins are maintained or improved upon. You will be someone that likes to work on technically and commercially complex projects and have the ability to respond quickly to client requirements. This role is client facing so client interaction experience and the ability to communicate openly and well is preferred.
