No two days are alike as we provide unique experiences every day such as our Mad Hatters afternoon tea in the Sanderson courtyard or our signature cocktails in the Blind Spot at St Martins Lane – our speakeasy cocktail bar.
We have a fabulous opportunity to join St Martins Lane in our Bell team as a Bell Attendant.
You will be responsible for greeting and assisting guests arriving at the hotel, along with delivering their luggage, arranging transport, delivering morning newspapers and mail and dealing with any other requests the guest may have during the night or day shift.
- Greet arriving guests, open car doors and relieve their luggage.
- Escort the guests to their rooms, explaining the room facilities and sell the hotel's F&B outlets.
- Deliver messages, packages etc. for guests and undertake any other requests in order to ensure their comfort.
- Transport departing guests’ luggage from the room to the lobby, then into a car or a taxi, ensuring that the guest has verified that all luggage has been accounted for.
- Ensure that luggage has been stored safely according to prescribed procedures.
- Deliver luggage to guest rooms as desired.
- Ensure that the luggage room is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Run errands for guests as and when required.
- Hail taxis from the street for hotel guests.
- Create and maintain a personal and respectful rapport with regular guests.

Qualifications
- UK Drivers license required
- Previous 5* hotel experience is preferred.
- You function best in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a challenge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships
- Flexibility in working hours is required.
